I’m sorry to have only just discovered this — I was India for 6 weeks just a few days ago. I too left London on a sabbatical to travel (without a book deal but with the more modest goal of scratching a creative itch outside of the corporate world). Perhaps there are some notes to exchange! I haven’t written about it yet, but the Andaman Islands was something wildly unique and special.
