It’s been a busy week in Mumbai. After the long road through Ladakh and Kashmir, I’ve been trying to multitask: consolidating the notes that keep spilling out of my journals, pushing forward on actually writing, and planning the next stretch of travel — all while catching up with friends and family here.
Somewhere in between, I managed to draft a chapter. What I’m sharing today is a very early version of it … still very much rough around the edges, but I hope it gives you a sense of the style and direction I’m aiming for.
